Yes. Wood Play Studio is located on the second level of the building. Access to the studio is only by stairs.
If you have something heavy to bring into the studio, don't despair, there is a goods lift onsite. However the goods lift cannot be used to transport people.
Yes. There street parking on Charles Street and Lens Street.
Yes. There is a kitchen with a fridge, microwave and kettle. There is a single unisex bathroom.
Just down the street from the studio are several retail stores including a Coles Supermarket, Grilled, Subway, Sacca's Supermarket, Coffee Shop, Chemist, Chicken Shop, Zambreros and two gymnasiums. Go shopping while they play!
Yes. Parents are welcome to stay and watch their Young Makers during the workshop. There are chairs available, alternatively there is a lounge area in the adjoining room.

Yes. We offer a one workshop pass for $77.00 inc gst. Your potential Young Maker can come along to one workshop and see if they like it. Contact John at hello@woodplaystudio.com.au to make a booking.
The number of participants in each type of workshop can vary depending on its content and complexity. Check the workshop description on the individual Wood Play Course page, the number of participants in each workshop will be specified in the description.
Wood Play Studio supplies materials, equipment and safety gear unless otherwise advised. Check your Course description for more information.
Feel free to bring a note pad and pencil, refreshments and all the enthusiasm you can muster.
Workshop participants should wear sturdy clothes suitable for woodworking and sensible footwear that completely covers the foot.
Wood Play Studio provides eye and hearing protection, and disposable dust masks. Feel free to bring your own if you have them.
Wood Play Studio makes every effort to ensure a safe working environment, PPE is mandatory when required. Woodworking using hand tools however can result in minor injuries to the hands such as small nicks and cuts. These are usually treatable using a cleansing swab and bandaid.
All of Wood Play Studio's instructors hold current First Aid Certificates and are trained to deal with any potential injury if it occurs. You will be informed if an injury occurs.

Yes. All of our instructors are vetted with valid Working With Children Checks and are insured by the business. If you have any questions regarding security or insurance please contact John Madden at hello@woodplaystudio.com.au
If you miss a workshop you are welcome to attend any other workshop during the 4 week block to make it up. Make up sessions may not be transferred to any other 4 week block.
If you cannot attend the course, you may receive a full refund if requested no less than 14 days before the workshop start date.
Less than 14 days from the course start date, 50% will be refunded or the course may be rescheduled.
Less than 7 days no refund offered, or the course may be rescheduled.
Change of mind is not a valid reason for refund as per the ACCC guidelines.
If a course needs to be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments, we will notify you and issue you with a full refund or arrange a transfer to an alternative workshop.
