More about COME N TRY
About COME N TRY workshops

COME N TRY workshops are designed as the first step in a new woodworkers journey. These sessions off new comers the chance to try out a bit of woodworking to see if it is for them. No long term commitment required, just come along to one workshop and see if you like it.

What happens in a COME N TRY workshop?

New woodworkers start by learning to use a few fundamental hand tools such as the pull saw, fret saw, rasps, files and spokeshaves. They will then hand draw a simple object onto plywood or solid pine, cut it out and finish the edges using the tools above. Finally they will finish their piece with paint or wood oil.
