About COME N TRY Woodworking
Wood Play Studio is the perfect place for Young Maker's to embark on their woodworking journey. To ensure woodworking is right for them, we offer a COME N TRY Woodworking single session ticket.
What happens in this workshop?
During this 2.5 hour long workshop your Young Maker is shown around the workshop, tries out a range of hand tools and then makes a simple project.
When are COME N TRY Woodworking workshops held?
These workshops are held weekly by simply joining an existing workshop group for one session. Once you have purchased your ticket, John from Wood Play Studio will be in touch to arrange a convenient time.
New Participants Advice
Young makers require time to understand the tools and processes and to develop their skills. Wood Play suggests that first time participants come along and allow the presenters to guide them through a series of set introductory exercises in their first session.
On returning to the studio for future workshops participants can design their own pieces or choose one from the design library. Feel free to discuss your young makers participation this with the presenters. If you have any questions please email John Madden at hello@woodplaystudio.com.au
